Purr-Ferred Petfood was formed in January 1999 by President and CEO Timothy B. Hester. Purr-Ferred Petfood immediately began processing and manufacturing raw materials for the pet food industry, shipping to the lower 48 states.
Over the years, Purr-Ferred has increased production at its processing facilities in Alaska to produce high quality fish products. Also, we source many different types of protein from around the world, offering a wide variety of raw materials used by our nation’s most recognizable pet food brands.

New Production Facility
In 2019, Purr-Ferred Petfood broke ground on a new state of the art processing facility in Anchorage, Alaska which is currently producing the highest quality fish products for the pet food industry!
